Job Responsibilities:
At least 2 years of relevant DBA experience running production DBs with high up-times – Excellent in concepts for both RDBMS and NoSQL DBs – Experience with creating databases, users, roles, privileges, Setting database – Performance Parameters – Experience with backups, restores and recovery models – Experience in Clustering and replication is a must – Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options – Experience in refreshing lower environments with production. – Proactively review the databases to identify possible bottlenecks – Experience in troubleshooting problems – Proficient in Linux OS and a very good hand on Linux commands – Must be aware of various database monitoring tools – Excellent written and verbal communication – Ability to organize and plan work independently and work in a rapidly changing environment – Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities
